A blizzard has been predicted for our area, and 12-18 inches of snow is expected to fall starting Monday 01/26 and ending Wednesday 01/28. This storm will seriously impede our ability to ship orders from our New Jersey and New York facilities in a timely manner, as courier delays and cancellations will be widespread.
Our shipping facilities located in Las Vegas and Los Angeles are not affected by this advisory, and continue to operate normally.
While we are still accepting new orders during this time, please be patient with us as we work as quickly as possible during the storm.
Advisory expires 01/30/2015

Today, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you, Doxy Couture.
Our previous name, XTC Apparel, has been in use for over 10 years, however it is becoming increasingly difficult to separate our name from the similarly named, and completely unrelated street drug, Ecstasy, which is often abbreviated XTC.
The similar names posed unique challenges when it came to advertising, both online and in print, as many companies identified XTC as a drug term, and would therefore block or refuse our attempts at submitting ads.
The Definition of Our New Name
Originally used in the mid 16th century, Doxy is an archaic word meaning lover or mistress. It's also used to describe a sexually promiscuous woman.
What better word to describe our product line!
While our name is changing, the same great service and customer support many have become accustomed to will remain unchanged.
Due to several recent snow storms around our Northeast facilities, and the potential for another storm tomorrow, February 18, USPS, UPS and FedEx are all posting shipment and delivery delays, especially for those orders being imported and exported through New York JFK port of entry customs centers.
As of this advisory, we are aware of one specific import that contains several of our customers' orders that is currently being held at customs due to this weather delay.
Please continue to be patient while our shipment couriers continue to play catch up.
